What We Maintain
The Alpine Park HOA is responsible for the ownership, maintenance, and stewardship of various community assets and enhancements throughout the neighbourhood, including:
- Green Court open spaces (HOA owned)
- Community gardens
- The Alpine Park entry feature (HOA owned)
- Landscaping within select separate sidewalk boulevards (City right-of-way, HOA maintained)
- Snow removal of designated regional and multi-use pathways
- Other HOA-owned or HOA-managed assets within the community, such as the Skyline Pond fountain and snow removal for the Skyline
- Pond lookout
Maintenance responsibilities may vary depending on the location and type of asset. For additional information regarding HOA-maintained lands and amenities, please visit the Maps section of the website.
What We DO NOT Oversee
While the HOA maintains a variety of community assets and enhancements, many areas within Alpine Park are maintained or overseen by other parties.
The HOA is generally NOT responsible for:
- City-owned parks and playgrounds (e.g., Picnic Grove Park at the intersection of Treeline View SW and Treeline Ave SW)
- Boulevard maintenance directly adjacent to City-owned parks and playgrounds
- Public roads and streets
- Street sweeping and road maintenance
- Maintenance of public sidewalks and tree replacements in City owned boulevards
- On-street snow clearing
- Personal waste collection and recycling services
- Condominium buildings, condominium common property, or private laneways
- Private property landscaping and maintenance (e.g., individual homeowner yards)
- Utilities and utility infrastructure outside of HOA owned open spaces
- School sites and associated lands
- Weed management on City parks or private property
- Architectural controls (managed by Dream)
