Annual HOA fees help fund the maintenance and care of HOA-owned community assets, as well as several community enhancement programs throughout Alpine Park. The information below outlines the primary assets, services, and programs supported by the HOA, and identifies areas that fall under the responsibility of others.
HOA-owned assets
The Alpine Park HOA owns and maintains:
- Green Court open spaces
- Community gardens
- The Alpine Park entry feature
- Other HOA-owned assets within the community (e.g., the fountain in Skyline Pond)
COMMUNITY ENHANCEMENT PROGRAMS
The Alpine Park HOA also funds and administers:
- Landscaping maintenance within select separate sidewalk boulevards
- Snow removal along designated regional and multi-use pathways
- Other Board-approved maintenance programs, as required (e.g., snow clearing of the lookout at Skyline Pond)
WHAT WE DO NOT MAINTAIN
While the HOA maintains a variety of community assets and enhancement programs, many areas within Alpine Park are maintained by other parties.
The HOA is generally not responsible for:
- City-owned parks and playgrounds
- Boulevard maintenance directly adjacent to City-owned parks and playgrounds
- Public roads and streets
- Street sweeping and road maintenance
- Public sidewalks and tree replacement within City-owned boulevards
- On-street snow clearing
- Personal/residential waste collection and recycling services
- Condominium buildings, condominium common property, or private laneways
- Private property landscaping and maintenance (e.g., individual homeowner yards)
- Utilities and utility infrastructure outside of HOA owned open spaces
- School sites and associated lands
- Weed management on City parks or private property
- Architectural controls (managed by Dream)
